Brass sounds you never heard

Trombibone

The flute can produce multiphonic sounds. So can the clarinet, the oboe and the bassoon. But on a brass instrument, it was an acoustically impossible fantasy - until now!

By putting physics at the service of music, the Trombibone makes it possible.

This new instrument - which I invented and developed alongside some of France’s finest instrument makers, technicians, and performers - opens up an infinite world of multiphonic possibilities.

Designed for composers, it offers a whole new palette of unheard sounds for new compositional and orchestration possibilities.

We recorded a vast array of multiphonic sounds in the best French conditions. Then, we carefully selected and organized 2,789 unique samples into 91 chromatically playable playing techniques, making them easy to integrate into your creative workflow.

For those who want to go beyond the virtual instrument, the Trombibone is in Paris and available for in-person or remote sessions with top-tier French performers.

We hope these unprecedented sounds will inspire you, and if you'd like to explore the Trombibone further for one of your projects, feel free to contact us!
